9-10-2015 updated BEER MENU

American Standard Rice Lager          OG 1.044, FG 1.011, ABV 4.34%, 17.6 IBU, 2.4 SRM

We used Rice in the brewing process to give the beer an American Lager taste we all would recognize. Tastes like a Budweiser or Coors Banquet but with more flavor and depth. We use only the best malt available for a very rich taste for such a light beer style.

Mexican Corn Lager                            OG 1.053, FG 1.011, ABV 5.5%, 22 IBU, 3.6 SRM

Traditional lager from South of the Border. Heavy use of corn adds sweetness and body. Easy drinking lager for the warmer weather of spring and summer. Grab a growler to-go and sit outside or go to the pool.

India Pale Ale                       OG 1.081, FG 1.011, ABV 9.30%, 100+ IBU, 6.5 SRM

Part one of our IPA fermentation project. We took one large batch of IPA. After boiling the wort we split the batch into two fermenters. We took one Ale yeast and one Lager yeast. We pitched both yeasts into different fermenters. After fermentation we dry hopped both batches of beer equally. Please try both beers. See the fruity esters effect the Ale version. Taste the dry finish from the Lager yeast and how it changes the bitterness from the dry hops.

Northwest IPA                     OG 1.071, FG 1.012, ABV 7.8%, 67 IBU, 8.5 SRM

This beer represents Jeff, our lead brewer's first recipe created and executed here at Nano 108. Jeff loves the Pacific Northwest. He loves balanced West Coast IPA's. So here is his interpretation to the style. Some malt back bone holds up the onslote of hops he used to create bitterness and a nice hop flavor and aroma.

German Schwarzbier                          OG 1.042, FG 1.013, ABV 5.7%, 31 IBU, 18 SRM

Schwarzbier means Black Beer in German. Medium bodied dark beer with dark ruby highlights. Despite it's dark color it comes across soft and elegant with a rich and surprising balance. Often referred to as Black Pilsner. Hop bitterness is gentle and subdued. Mild bittersweet notes of chocolate and roasted grains with a malty middle. Dry and clean lager finish makes you want another sip.
